Privacy without ambiguity

VeriPatra, formerly SureSign, is a document utility published by Bighelpers Software. It checks cryptographic digital signatures embedded in PDFs, can add a visual signature or seal, can password-protect a PDF, and offers an optional Secure Vault.

Verification, visual signing, password protection, QR scanning and local records need no name, email address, phone number or account. If you create a Vault, you invent a Vault ID and password. We retain the Vault ID and a secure password hash needed to authenticate it.

• Verify: the PDF you choose is sent over HTTPS to our verification service, processed in memory and not retained after the request unless you explicitly save a Vault copy.
• Protect: the PDF and open password are sent over HTTPS only to apply AES-256 protection. The password is never retained.
• Sign & Seal: mark clean-up, protected local mark storage and creation of the marked PDF happen on your device.
• QR and iOS 27 assistance: the camera feed is never recorded or uploaded. Smart Select, selected-page analysis and any available private summary run on device.

VeriPatra AI is an optional feature in the app. Verification never needs it, and it stays off until you agree to it in the app. You can turn it off again at any time in Settings.

• Explanations: only report data is sent — the result, check codes, signer and issuer names, and dates. The PDF is not sent.
• Analyse: extracted text from the first pages of the document is sent only after you tap Analyse. The app shows you what will be sent first.
• This data is processed by a third-party AI service, through VeriPatra's server, to produce the answer. The app also sends a random install ID and the app version so requests can be rate-limited; if you are signed in to the Vault, your Vault session is included.
• Our server keeps only metadata logs of AI requests. The report details, the document text and the AI's answer are not kept in those logs.

VeriPatra AI explains the fixed cryptographic result. It never changes that result and does not give legal advice.

A minimal, non-personal technical record may be kept for a verification: page and signature counts, computed trust facts and score, a client tag and a technical platform string. It contains neither the PDF nor your identity. If you use the Vault, only your chosen encrypted documents, Vault credentials and item metadata remain until you delete them.

Reports, result images, raw result JSON, Trust Passports, What Changed records, Trust Heatmap data, the trusted-authorities list and encrypted signature or seal images stay in the app's private storage. They leave only when you share them. Optional iOS Spotlight discovery is off by default, and the widget exposes aggregate local counts only.

All app-server traffic uses HTTPS. Vault documents are encrypted and each item has its own key; deleting an item destroys that key. A Vault session expires after 12 hours. Biometric unlock is performed by the operating system, so biometric data never reaches VeriPatra or our server.

You can delete a Vault item or the whole Vault account inside the app. Local data can be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling VeriPatra. For help, email admin@bighelpers.in with the Vault ID only. Never email a password, recovery code or private document.

There are no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers or data sales. VeriPatra reports technical facts and the limits of the checks completed. It does not guarantee the truth of a document's contents, notarise a document, provide legal advice, or determine legal validity in every jurisdiction.
